MEET THE COMEDIANS
Maureen Langan is one of the smartest, most fearlessly funny comics working today. Her exceptional wit and honest rants on life’s absurdities make her a comedy standout at clubs, theaters, and festivals across the U.S, Canada, and Europe. She was named one of the “Ten Standout Stand-ups Worth Watching” by Backstage Magazine. Langan has opened for Joy Behar, Steven Wright, Dennis Miller, and Jordan Sparks. She performed at Town Hall on Broadway with Rosie O’Donnell and is a regular at Carolines on Broadway, one of the country’s premiere comedy clubs. She has appeared on Gotham Live on AXS TV, HBO, Red Eye, Comics Unleashed, Cozi TV, Taxi TV, the Paramount Pictures film “Marci X,” and in many national commercials. Langan is also an award-winning broadcast journalist. She can be heard every Sunday night hosting Hangin’ with Langan on KGO. Her wit and shoot-from-the-hip interviewing style earned her the title of Best Female Commentator for her work on Bloomberg Television and Radio. She has dished with the likes of Howard Stern, Joan Rivers, George Carlin, Sandra Bernhard, and John Cleese. Whether on stage, television or radio, Maureen Langan delivers. Give her a mic and see for yourself. www.maureenlangan.com
Bob Rubin is a San Francisco stand-up comedy veteran whose material is thoroughly original, incredibly detailed and conjures vivid images. Eccentric and random, Rubin doesn’t just take the stage, he attacks it. He’s big, he’s offbeat and he’s not easily forgotten. A talented writer, performer and actor, The Rube (as his fans like to call him) has performed in numerous feature films including Dead in 5 Heartbeats, Boondock Saints 2 – All Saints Day, Rob Schneider’s The Animal (Revolution) and The Hot Chick (Disney), and did a voiceover for Disney’s cartoon, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. He has appeared on Late Friday (NBC), Roseanne (ABC) and several cable stand-up shows, and was a key staff writer and actor on the sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Special (FOX). Bob was also a regular guest on the comedy-friendly and wildly popular Alex Bennett show on San Francisco’s The KQAK and Live 105 radio stations. In between performing in comedy clubs in Canada, Los Angeles and San Francisco, Bob recently released a comedy CD and is currently working on his forthcoming book. www.rubetime.com

Larger than life, Susan uses her attitude and experiences with size acceptance and being a single mom to deliver consistently funny, crowd-pleasing performances. She recently opened for “The Roast Master General” Jeffrey Ross and Brad Garret (Everybody Loves Raymond) and can frequently be heard on the Bob Rivers show. Susan won Jack FM and Snoqualmie Casino’s Funniest Comedian in Washington contest, Club Casino’s Jokers Run Funniest Comedian contest, was a finalist in the “Funniest Woman in California” competition. Susan has worked with other great comics including Doug Stanhope, Josh Wolfe, Emo Phillips, Rick Overton, Judy Tenuta, Brad Upton, Susan Rice, Rod Long, and a host of others. www.susanjonescomedy.com
